Job Description: We are seeking General Telecommunications Construction Workers to join our team. This role involves working on telecom infrastructure projects, including cell tower construction, site development, utility installation, structural framing, and roofing. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights, using specialized equipment, and handling a variety of construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Perform civil construction work, including excavation, trenching, and grading for telecom sites. Assist in cell tower installation, maintenance, and upgrades. Work on telecommunications site development, including concrete foundation work, underground utilities, and fencing. Install FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Polymer) structures for telecom applications. Assist with commercial roofing for telecom buildings and shelters. Work on structural framing for telecom infrastructure (wood, steel, and metal framing). Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery for construction tasks. Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and telecommunications construction standards. Maintain a strong focus on safety, including working at heights and operating in confined spaces. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements: Experience in telecommunications construction, civil construction, framing, roofing, or FRP structures (preferred but not required). Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and telecommunications site safety. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Valid driver’s license (CDL and/or ability to travel for projects is a plus). OSHA certification (preferred; training available). Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience.
